The labels approach came after witnessing multiple underground music trends, shades and textures rise and fall throughout the pairs lengthy involvement as dj’s, producers and music lovers. Not only via it’s allusive title does the London based label retain its drive, but through the carefully selected content of abstract and left field styles that it projects. Now housing a collective of artists across the spectrum of techno, minimal, house, progressive and experimental music, Stendhal Records and its artists have one common thread - to transport their listeners through emotions and mind trips – to simply become lost in the sound of Stendhal.
